Last night I went to a studio of severeal independent emerging artists in Toronto. The first artist I've met was Catto Houghton http://www.cattostrophe.net/. Very cool stuff - I saw an impressive triptych of Gwen Stefani. Her work needs to displayed in Juxtapoz or Lodown. Mostly she is painting people around and/or in her life - friends, DJ's and soon. It is a question of time that she get the attention of the big guys and celebrities.

Catto Houghton - Canadian Artist # 001
