In My Bed Magazine
Dust-D-Bugger is proud to announce the partnership with Toronto based magazine "In My Bed" (http://www.inmybedmagazine.com/". The magazine will be published quarterly and is initiated by the canadian editor and publisher Rosanna Ciulla. For now is planned to release "In My Bed" online - in future we will have a printed issue as well. Release date for the premier issue will be April 21, 2008. We invite all writers, painters, illustrators, poets, photographers and artists who imagine beyond their means, to GET INTO BED before March 7, 2008.
About "In My Bed" magazine:
What is IN MY BED? IN MY BED Magazine is a sexy and sensual online literary arts magazine that will arouse and submit to the imagination of writers, artists, and readers at hand. Together, we will curiously explore, observe, and exhibit themes in an experimental and abstract manner unlike traditional and obvious erotica.
Sex should never be a nemesis but rather be the lust and skin of life. Sex is an exposition and haven that is so dear to humanity. Sex is a form of art. It is that touch, feel, taste and sight for artistic and natural expressions.
IN MY BED Magazine will either push people's buttons or push your lover up against the wall.
IN MY BED Magazine will be a kind of literary promiscuity to enjoy on a quarterly basis while drinking a good cup of coffee, smoking a cigarette, somewhere downtown, on a university campus, or in your bedroom.

Flash
I've had pretty busy days the last two weeks. Yesterday we were flying for meeting to Miami very early in the morning and were back in Toronto around 1am. Currently I'm looking to meet really experienced Flash developers and picture processing specialists.
During the flight back I was watching thru the windows, and got an idea to solve the existing problems in 2D/3D conversions.
Last night the sky was nearly without clouds and I've had a wonderful view on the sleeping united states. Due some circumstances in the atmosphere I saw the city lights in shiftet layers and different heights. It was something like an optical irritation. And I've got an idea. I will keep you updatet on this.

Snow - Toronto Pics #005
View from my balcony - with "my " first snow this year: 2007-11-22. The 17th floor view. I love tall buildings - could be not high enough.
Currently I'm working on the auto-stereoscopic 3D presention of Hagen Bäckers artwork for the new building of the Music Academy in Dresden. I struggle with lights in these huge 3D model. I found some very good camera views - the 3D is excellent - only the lightning sucks totally. Once if I have the lights in final position I will do the camera moves.

Snow - Toronto Pics #004
Toronto in snow: 2007-11-22, taken from my kitchen window. Very early in the morning, around 7 am. Due the jet-lag I got up very early, drinking coffee, did some phone calls to Germany. We're working with pressure to go public with Dust-D-Bugger.com - Thinking about to re-animate Dust-D-Bugger as record label as well. In 2004 we merged the label with the german label Privatelektro.

Toronto - Girls Night Out
Very, very cool anaglyph 3D vinyl-cover "Girls Night Out" by a band called "Toronto" - neat. One of funniest pieces in my 3D collection. I've bought this last year very cheap. Guess this is to funny for the real 3D addict. I've got this last year from DrT 3D (look for 3d-drt-3d or try this link: http://stores.ebay.de/DrT-3d_W0QQssPageNameZstrkQ3amefsQ3amesstQQtZkm) - he has one of the best 3D shops at eBay you can find in the internet.

Sunset - Toronto Pics #002
On my way from the aiport to downtown Toronto I shot some picts of a very nice sunset - I like the red reflection.
LH 470 - Toronto Pics #001
Due the reason to be frequent traveller with Star Alliance - I was happy to upgrade to business class on my flight without additional fees. I shot the first image at the washroom.
Back in Toronto
Yesterday night I arrived Toronto at 3:40 pm - the flight was on time. No problems at the immigration - the often I go to Canada it goes faster. Yesterday I was thrue after 30 seconds. After picking up my luggage I was going straight downtown to the Spatial View office. Like every time I took the bus - the airport express. Approximately at 6 pm I was in my appartment in the Bloor/Yonge area. I've had to go to the grocery store - there is a Rabba on my street - open 24 hrs a day. But I've decided to go at first Book City at Yonge Street. A very small bookstore with special pricings on books - mostly design, art, comics stuff and a lot of international magazines and newspapers. I've bought the actual print with a cover made by Nicholas Blechman (he is the husband of one of my wifes bests friends in NY). Addidtional I've had the Coupe #017, the actual Believer and a book about Virginia Lee Burton in my basket. In 2006 I've got her children's book "Katy the Snowblow" in Boston Cambridge in used book store. The Coupe Mag (http://www.coupe-mag.com/) is fascinating with their annual design competition.
In the coupe mag is a anaglyph 3D add campaign for Mini from the Toronto based Taxi 2 design office (http://www.taxi.ca/)
Yesterday I did some shots with my new Sony Cybershot handy - it is quiet good and very small and a smaller camera as well. It is a good add a new one to my stack: a Nimslo four-eyed stereo camera to use with slide film from the 80's. I will add the photos later the day.
The next small project I want do: to make multiple shots with my Cybershot and create with the Spatial View software stereo 3D photos for their 5 view multi-user displays.

Canada Trip
Tomorrow I will go to Toronto the last time this year. Probably I will go as well to Halifax in the next weeks to discuss with friends there Dust-D-Bugger activities in Canada. In Halifax is an excellent art academy - the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design (NSCAD University) http://www.nscad.ns.ca/ and I have friends there: the Page & Strange art-gallery http://www.pageandstrange.com/. They have an wonderful portfolio.
A huge part of my stereo 3D collection - mostly Realist and/or glass slides as well a lot of 3D comics - is storaged in Halifax - I have to organize the shipping to germany.
Beside this: the party on saturday at Hagen Bäckers new studio was quiet excellent and a lot of fun - I did some photos and will upload the stuff in the next days - right now I'm pretty busy to prepare the flight to Canada.
